What We Do
OBJECTIVES
Our main goal is to enrich the relationship between children and books. Regardless of the social-economic condition; our aim is for them to receive a book. Besides, we support vulnerable children with donations to overcome financial problems that negatively affect their literacy. We use the donations to provide some financial contribution for children such as refugees.
Raising social awareness.
Share for kids is also a platform where we will raise awareness concerning adverse issues facing children. Regardless of their origin, we will fight to bring attention to the children facing problems all over the world in the best ways we can.
Promotion of environmental awareness.
We strongly encourage the donation and sharing of used books. We hope that this practice will allow children to develop their environmental awareness. Reading material can be given a new lease of life in the hands of another child. This reduces wastage and also illustrates in the young minds our shared joint connection with the environment.
Cultural diversity.
The books are exciting windows into a culture. We hope to open these windows to children in the Netherlands and gradually all over the world. The books you provide undoubtedly open young growing minds to new and exciting literary experiences. This is key to investing and growing rich adventurous minds for the future.
WITH BOOKS
VIA BOOKS
We collect used children’s (0-7 age) books for free. From second-hand stores, libraries, schools and the public. Our books contain more pictures and games than texts.
We recycle and share books in public places with children for free. Also, we ask adults to select and gift a book to a kid. Since mostly the children below 7 years are illiterate, our books can circulate globally.
We look for a sponsor for each book.We raise funds when you sponsor a book. You have a chance to place your name /logo on the books.
We bring children together with the books and enrich their minds. This is mainly done through the books you sponsored. Regardless of the social-economic condition of the child; our aim is for them to receive a book.
With the donations we carry out various activities to support disadvantaged children. We support vulnerable children to promote their literacy by improving their conditions.
